As a work at home Mum myself, I discovered social media and blogging a couple of years ago when I began to blog about my direct selling business. The blog really helped me to increase my customer base and it gives a nice personal touch, as customers can find out more about me and my activities running the business from home. In addition to my direct selling business as an Independent Phoenix Trader, I also run an online greetings cards business called Mother Hen Cards.
Work For Mums was developed to provide all the resources I was looking for myself when I started my business. I wanted to be able to promote myself and advertise my business on other sites, as well as get some tips for working at home, running my business around a young family. WFM can offer this to other Mum’s in business, whether it be by checking out some of the fantastic tips, submitting an article, featuring on Mums On Three, or placing an advertisement for work at home opportunities.
